Simple and Rapid Installation
These basic components are all you need to build an Internet delivery system. With Telkonet’s advanced technology, installation is simple and the system can be rapidly deployed.

iWire System Components
1. Telkonet Gateway Connects to Internet via Ethernet. Converts signal to PLC signal. A modular, self-contained unit that accepts data from an existing network on one port and distributes it to the Telkonet Coupler via a second port. It has a 10/100 Ethernet port on one side and a powerline carrier (PLC) interface on the other. Each Gateway is configured to support 1,024 iBridges.
2. Telkonet Coupler Wired directly to building’s electric fuse panels; injects the data signal into the building’s electrical system. The Coupler is the only component that needs to be installed by a licensed electrician, which takes about two hours. The Telkonet Gateway and the Telkonet Coupler are installed near the circuit breaker in the building.
3. Telkonet iBridge™ End user modem to connect to the powerline network via a conversion from Ethernet to PLC. Users simply plug one side of Telkonet’s iBridge into an ordinary electrical outlet and then plug the other side into their computer for instant Internet access.
